My first blog

Well, the time has come for Erin to create a means of communicating to all who will listen. Yes folks, I've created a blog. I know, the queen of forgetfulness, the princess of 'oops, I spaced it!' has promised to do her best to post entries on a blog site. I did this so I don't have to worry about forgetting to add someone to an email list. Preventative action! Ha, how do you like that!? :) Well, I know I've got some time before I leave for my many adventures in Brazil, but I thought I would create this now before I 'forget'. I have exactly 56 days before I depart from good ol' Indiana en route to the land of drums, sun, and colorful culture. I don't know about you, but I'm excited! Six months seems like a very long time to be away, but I know that once I'm there, the time will seem to melt away and I will be home before I know it. Don't worry kids, the time will fly by quickly for you too, so don't fret. ;)
